Like snakes they have a long fork tongue and can unhook their jaw. They also have two curbed canine even if they are usually vegetarian they can eat meat. The eyes as said in the description of the race is slit and they have a transparent protective membrane that they control and usually put up if they go in water or to fly. The picture of the wing show fast where the scales are and we can see that they only have three fingers with sharp nails.
